Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes! We use the. most secure system known. You will receive a certificate that lists the artwork and its makeup hand signed by Lawrence D’Attilio

  • Yes, the materials are tested to last 100 to 400 years minimum, when hung or stored as we inform you at the purchase time. However, while tests show that prints on metal and wood can last as much as 100 years, there isn’t a modern proof to authenticate that, so we can’t guarantee art lasting over a long term when produced on those substrates. Further, the so-called acrylic prints have long-term issues due to the plasticizers migrating out of the plastics, leading to brittle prints.

If you prefer to have an artwork you can rely on to last over a century, you are safest to buy printed artworks on paper and canvas. All prints are made using only archival inks. Such inks are made using metals whose colors remain constant over time.

  • Smaller prints and those that are limited editions are most often covered, free of charge. For larger artworks, a fee will be added. We work carefully to get you the best safety in transport, without extravagant means of packaging and shipping, that drives the cost of shipping up unnecessarily.

  • It is also our habit to accept some commissions when we feel it is a good fit for the client. Good fits are when the client has a theme, idea, or favorite something that they can articulate so we can use that to create a unique special artwork for them.  While some commissions have been for mural sized artworks, there are some that are much smaller, that we can also work with.

  • We accept wholesale purchases from galleries, consultants, and interior designers. We also listen to ideas and suggestions from well situated art galleries regarding solo, and in some situations, group exhibits, and for that we honor the usual gallery markup needs.

  • We have a long history renting our artworks for solo exhibits in museums and other institutions. These have been as many as 60 framed artworks in a single portfolio. Our work has been in the U.S. and foreign countries. We can tailor make a portfolio for your needs for displays from 10 to many more artworks, and we can work with you for the hanging and other placement needs.

Please inquire to find out what portfolios and subjects we have available.
